NACSW K9 NOSE WORK NW1 TRIAL WATSONVILLE, CA 5/18/24

Bobby, handled by Steve Bettcher, Qualified in all 4 of his Novice Scent Work elements earning him High in Trial. He got a first place in Buried, a second place in Containers, a second place in Interior and a 4th place in exterior. He also earned the following Novie Element titles: SNB, SNI, and SNE.

Bobby my new nosework dog placed 4th overall in his first NW1 Trial earning his NW1 Title.  He was 4th in Exterior, 4th in Vehicles, 4th in Containers 4th and 14th  in Interior. He and I had a great debut and there will be more to come.  Please excuse the Vehicle video. I didn't have the camera positioned  properly for the tight space.

Experience NACSW Trial Videos featuring Buddy the Beagle and Steve Bettcher as they participate in an NACSW K9 Nose Work Elite Trial at the March Field Museum in Riverside, CA. This particular challenge was known as the NASA Search, involving an undisclosed number hides and a strict 3-minute time limit. The search environment was blank of any odor, and impressively, Buddy completed the task in just 2 minutes and 55 seconds without making any false alerts.

During the C141C Cargo Plane Search conducted at the Riverside March Air Field Museum on March 14, 2022, Buddy showcased remarkable skills. He successfully found all 4 of the hides within the designated 3-minute timeframe, securing a well-deserved 3rd place in this search. His performance was duly recognized with a Pronounced Performance.

All Four Searches: Buddy scored 94 Points and Placed 3rd Overall at this Elite Nose Work Trial at the Marsh Field Air Museum in Riverside CA. Buddy only missed one hide. Our best effort ever in an Elite Trial!
