In our Novice Online Nose Work training Classes, we initiate the training by having dogs search boxes using a cocktail of scents, including Birch, Anise, Clove and Cypress. The primary objectives of this class are to empower the dog to independently search through 10 closed boxes and accurately identify each individual scent used in both AKC Scent Work and NACSW dog scent training

This online nose work training class introduces the Final Alert Response, various container types, buried hides, and vehicle searches. This course serves as preparation for dogs aspiring to participate in the AKC Novice Level of competition and the NACSW Odor Recognition Test (ORT).

Class is open to Students who have completed Novice scent training dogs or who have earned at least 1 Q in any element in Novice SW or have completed an NACSW ORT.

Once the dog has mastered the Alert Indicator in Nose Work training and demonstrates independent searching within the training lab, we progress to more intricate challenges. We transition from scent boxes and tubes to placing scents in drawers, objects, furniture, travel bags, and vehicles. These advanced exercises encompass both exterior, interior areas and vehicles

Dogs must have completed Foundation III Nosework Class or by permission of the instructor

If your pet needs more individualized attention, we offer private online training sessions to focus on their specific needs.
